Quality Review Process

The instructional programs at MATC are evaluated in an on-going fashion to meet the mission of the college by:

  • Ensuring the needs of the students and the community are met;
  • Providing effective and efficient instruction; and
  • Facilitating changes and improvements to curriculum and the program.

The QRP is an evaluation process which consists of a scorecard of data, a program portfolio, and an analysis and synthesis of the components that lead to an improvement process which is documented by an Action Plan.  The emphasis of the efforts and documentation is to improve the program, especially the indicators of quality as defined by the WTCS and MATC.

Data from the Scorecard and the Portfolio are not an end in and of themselves.  The data and information compiled is intended to lead to an analysis and to identify improvements in the program.
